Blindsight is vision that doesn't rely on sight. E.g. some cave-dwelling monsters don't need eyes to see you.

Darkvision makes dim light bright, and darkness dim.

• Shows as shades of grey.

Truesight can see:

• In darkness
• Invisibility
• Through to the Ethereal plane
• Through visual illusions (and automatically detect them)
  • Including shape changers

Bright light - sunlight, torches, fires. Dim light - Edges of bright light, twilight, dawn.

• Lightly obscured.

Darkness - Night, unlit dungeons.

• Heavily Obscured.

Areas may be lightly or heavily obscured.

• Lightly obscured areas, such as patchy fog, create Disadvantage on Perception Checks that rely on sight.
• Heavily obscured areas basically create the Blinded condition.
